Heading into week 17 of the 2007 season, four teams have already locked
up #1 and #2 seeding for the AFC and NFC conferences. In the AFC, the New
England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts have secured
appearances in the divisional round on Jan 12-13, and for the NFC, the Dallas
Cowboys and Green Bay Packers have earned first round byes and
get a reprieve until the divisional round.
The playoff schedule begins with Wild Card weekend on Saturday, January 5th. In the
AFC, the Chargers, Steelers, Jaguars
have already clinched appearances, and in the NFC, the Seahawks, Buccaneers
and NY Giants have secured their spots.
