var START_1A="Ricky Williams "
var START_1B="RB"
var START_1B1="mia"
var START_1C="car"
var START_1D=" With Ronnie Brown out for the year, Ricky Williams now becomes the feature back in Miami's run-heavy offense. Williams has actually averaged a career-best 5.3 yards per carry this year, and gets a favorable matchup versus a Panthers run defense that has been giving up around 108 rush yards per game, and 4.76 yards per carry."

var START_2A="Eli Manning/<br>Brandon Jacobs"
var START_2B="QB/RB"
var START_2B1="nyg"
var START_2C="atl"
var START_2D=" Fresh off their bye week and needing a win to boost their playoff aspirations, the Giants are assumingly well-rested and focused for their home game against Atlanta Falcons. Eli Manning faces the 8th worst pass defense, so he should make a decent start this week. Meanwhile Brandon Jacobs is expected to have an easy time against a defense that has typically permitted over 100 yards and one TD to opposing RBs."

var START_3A="Kevin Smith "
var START_3B="RB"
var START_3B1="det"
var START_3C="cle"
var START_3D=" Kevin Smith has had a rough stretch over the past 5 games, getting shutout of the endzone while averging just 56 rush yards per game. Part of the problem has been that the Lions have been playing from behind, limiting Smith's carries to just 15 per game. Detroits running game is looking better this week against a Browns team that has struggled to score points and has allowed 142 yards per game to opposing runningbacks."

var START_4A="Pierre Thomas/<br>Marques Colston/<br>Devery Henderson "
var START_4B="RB/WR"
var START_4B1="nor"
var START_4C="tam"
var START_4D=" The Saints offense has been impressively multi-dimensional this year, and ranks as the 3rd best passing unit, and the 1st best rushing unit in terms of fantasy points. New Orleans should find little resistance on both fronts this week, as the Tampa Bay defense ranks as the 5th easiest against opposing QBs, and has been allowing about 146 rush yards per game."

var START_5A="Zach Miller "
var START_5B="TE"
var START_5B1="oak"
var START_5C="cin"
var START_5D=" As bad as JaMarcus Russell has been,it's still hard to see how a switch to Brad Gradkowski will help the Raiders passing game much. Nonethless, in a tough game against the Bengals, the Raiders will likely be forced to throw and Zach Miller should represent the primary weapon for the weak-armed QB. While the Bengals defense ranks as the 8th toughest against wide receivers, they have been relatively easier on opposing TEs, allowing 6 catches a game to this position. "

var BENCH_1A="Jason Snelling "
var BENCH_1B="RB"
var BENCH_1B1="atl"
var BENCH_1C="nyg"
var BENCH_1D=" Jason Snelling was no doubt a hot pickup this week, and he is a versatile player, with solid inside running ability, and good receiving skills. He had a productive game filling in for Michael Turner last week, with 61 yards and a TD, but this was against the 26th ranked Carolina defense. He will probably have a tougher time this week against the 9th ranked Giants defense, so you probably don't want to bench any of your normal starters to insert Snelling in your lineup."

var BENCH_2A=" Tony Romo/<br>Roy Williams "
var BENCH_2B="QB/WR"
var BENCH_2B1="dal"
var BENCH_2C="was"
var BENCH_2D=" Tony Romo could very well end up having a productive game, as you really never know what to expect from him. However, he has had some problems against Washington the last 2 years, averaging only 219 yards, with 5 INTs in the 4 games against them. In 2009, the Redskins secondary has been allowing only 177 pass yards, so it might be a good idea to find an alternative for Romo. Meanwhile, depsite his solid game last week, Roy Williams has been too inconsistent and not worth the risk. "

var BENCH_3A=" Laurence Maroney "
var BENCH_3B="RB"
var BENCH_3B1="nwe"
var BENCH_3C="nyj"
var BENCH_3D=" Laurence Maroney has scored in 4 straight games, but it's not encouraging that he was outplayed by 33 year old Kevin Faulk last week, as Faulk ended up with 79 rush yards to Maroney's 31. Also hurting Maroney's chances in week 11 is the possible return of Sammy Morris. Especially if Morris returns to make the Patriots RB rotation even more unpredictable, it makes little sense to use Maroney against the Jets 6th ranked run defense."

var BENCH_4A=" Matt Cassel/<br>Chris Chambers "
var BENCH_4B="QB/WR"
var BENCH_4B1="kan"
var BENCH_4C="pit"
var BENCH_4D=" It's hard to see how the 27th ranked passing offense could get much worse, but the suspension of Dwayne Bowe could do the trick. While Pittsburgh has been inconsistent against opposing wideouts, they should be able to contain Kansas City's unimpressive weapons, now led by San Diego castoff Chris Chambers."

var BENCH_5A="Malcom Floyd "
var BENCH_5B="WR"
var BENCH_5B1="sdg"
var BENCH_5C="den"
var BENCH_5D=" In weeks 9 and 10, San Diego faced the Giants and the Eagles, two pretty good pass defenses, so Floyd's 74 total yards is somewhat excusable. Unfortunately, the Chargers draw another tough passing matchup this week, as they travel to Denver to face the Broncos. Denver's secondary has been yielding just 126 yards per game to opposing wide receivers, and has permitted only 6 TDs to wideouts this year."
